As with VLF cable testing, a sinusoidal 0.1 Hz VLF<\/b> (very low frequency) voltage<\/b> is used for measurement of partial discharge.
\nThese systems are available for 4 different voltage ranges – 34 kV peak, 62 kV peak, 90 kV peak, 120 kV and 200 kV peak.<\/b><\/p>\n
Fields of application<\/strong><\/p>\n Measurement of partial discharge<\/a> is applicable for cables and accessories of medium voltage networks with various insulation materials:<\/p>\n Moreover, assessment of the following plant is possible:<\/p>\n Measurement of partial discharge and its levels<\/strong><\/p>\n The PC based software serves for display and analysis of measurement results. The intensity <\/b>of partial discharge is measured in pico Coulomb<\/b> (pC) and displayed versus time. By means of fully automatic analysis of the reflectograms collected during the measurement \u2013 via a method referred to as time-domain reflectometry TDR<\/b> \u2013 a location <\/b>of insulation irregularities is possible and they are displayed in a partial discharge mapping<\/b> format.<\/p>\n A phase-related depiction<\/b> of the partial discharges provides additional information, useful for the evaluation of the device under test.<\/p>\n In a report all relevant measurement values are recorded:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Datasheet<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Our TD and PD systems have been designed for maximum portability and on-site use.
