The test result enables plant operators to\u00a0<b>evaluate the condition of the insulating oil<\/b>, allowing them to assess on the need for substitution of the oil.<br \/>\nThe automatically generated test reports are provided in\u00a0<b>pdf-format<\/b>\u00a0and are stored on a USB stick.<\/p>\n<p class=\"csc-caption\"><strong>Transformer oil testing with the BA series<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Due to the ultra fast voltage switch-off at flash over (&lt; 5 \u03bcs!), non-destructive transformer oil testing of\u00a0<b>synthetic oil, ester oil and silicone oil<\/b> is possible!\u00a0 Various predefined and fully automatic test sequences meet all relevant\u00a0<b>international standards<\/b>, thus the models of the BA series fulfill all legal requirements of the mandatory transformer oil test.<\/p>\n<p>Sequences are predefined for the following standards: VDE0370-5\/96, \u00d6VE EN60156, IEC 60156\/95, ASTM1816-04-1, ASTM1816-04-2, ASTM877-02A, ASTM877-02B, AS1767.2.1, BS EN60156, NEN 10 156, NF EN60156, PA SEV EN60156, SABS EN60156, UNE EN60156.<br \/>\nIn addition the BA series are capable of performing single manually controlled measurements. <b>Customer specific test sequences<\/b>\u00a0for transformer oil testing can also be programmed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Typical transformer oil testing sequence<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dielectric oil is taken the device under test<\/li>\n<li>Oil is put into the test vessel<\/li>\n<li>Voltage rises with a slew rate of 2 kV\/s<\/li>\n<li>Ultra fast voltage switch-off &lt; 5 \u03bcs at flashover<\/li>\n<li>Measurement and recording of the breakdown voltage<\/li>\n<li>Automatic oil stirring<\/li>\n<li>Idle time of 2 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Repeated voltage rise up to breakdown<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Based on the procedure above breakdown voltage of an oil sample is determined six times in a row and the resulting breakdown voltage is calculated as mean value of the individual measurements.<\/p>\n<p>Note: The lower the resulting breakdown voltage, the poorer the\u00a0<b>quality\u00a0<\/b>of the oil!&#8217;<br \/>\nThe test voltage is automatically controlled and increased to a maximum level of up to\u00a0<b>100 kV rms<\/b> (BA100).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Handling and interface<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The simple and <b>intuitive operation<\/b>\u00a0of the instruments is achieved via navigation using selection buttons and a very bright integrated color display.The\u00a0<b>automatically generated report<\/b>\u00a0of the transformer oil testing sequence is available as a\u00a0<b>pdf-version<\/b> and is stored to the internal memory.<\/p>\n<p>As means of communication with the instruments a\u00a0<b>USB<\/b>\u00a0flash drive interface and a\u00a0<b>Bluetooth\u2122<\/b> connection is offered. The <b>integrated printer<\/b>\u00a0allows on-site printing and examination of a report of the transformer oil testing
