PDTD68 \u2013 Diagnostic System for Medium Voltage Cables<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

PDTD68 is an integrated VLF diagnostic system designed for use with HVA VLF test equipment. The system enables fast, safe, and efficient measurement of partial discharges (PD) and Tan Delta (TD) within a single device.<\/p>\n

Thanks to its smart design and a single fiber optic connection to the PC, you get a simple and reliable setup that can be installed in a very short time. This makes PDTD68 an ideal solution for both field applications and advanced cable diagnostics.<\/p>\n

The integrated technology, including a large 22 nF coupling capacitor, built-in filter, and a modern data acquisition unit, ensures high sensitivity and accurate measurement results. The system is also equipped with battery operation, enabling use in locations without a permanent power supply. Charging and operation can easily be done via USB-C (PD 3.0).<\/p>\n

Efficient and Time-Saving Diagnostics<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

With PDTD68, PD and Tan Delta measurements can be performed simultaneously, saving time and eliminating the need for cable preconditioning \u2013 which could otherwise negatively affect measurement results. This combination provides a more complete understanding of the cable condition and improves maintenance decision-making.<\/p>\n

Flexible System with High Precision<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

The system is designed for diagnostics of medium voltage cables up to 100 km and delivers precise fault localization with up to 1% accuracy. With a resolution of 0.1 pC and 0.1 meters, even small deviations can be detected at an early stage.<\/p>\n

In combination with an HVA test unit, a complete and powerful system for cable testing up to 68 kV is created, making the solution both scalable and future-proof.<\/p>\n
