{"id":10103,"date":"2023-12-20T16:59:34","date_gmt":"2023-12-20T15:59:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/testnordic.com\/?post_type=product&#038;p=10103"},"modified":"2024-12-30T12:08:26","modified_gmt":"2024-12-30T11:08:26","slug":"circuit-breaker-analyzer-and-timer-cat250-series","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/testnordic.se\/en\/produkt\/circuit-breaker-analyzer-and-timer-cat250-series\/","title":{"rendered":"Circuit Breaker Analyzer and Timer CAT250 series"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"slide_gallery alt\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"row matchHeight\">\n<div class=\"col-md-7 order-2 order-md-1\">\n<section class=\"tabs_homepage\">\n<div class=\"tabs wow fadeInUp\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div id=\"t1\" class=\"tabs-content alt active\">\n<p><strong>CAT250 series<\/strong> inherited all capabilities and experience collected from market leading CAT Advanced series.<\/p>\n<p>CAT250 introduces unique touch screen interface designed to significantly save the time required for test preparation and results analysis of all types of medium- and high voltage circuit breakers.<\/p>\n<p>Test results could also be printed on the 112 mm (4.4\u201c) thermal printer (optional accessory) in tabular and graphical form.<\/p>\n<p>The CAT250 series <strong>circuit breaker analyzers &amp; timers<\/strong> can be coupled with DV Power Coil Analyzer SAT II series to create one test system (control and testing done with CAT250 touch screen interface) capable to perform the following list of applications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Simultaneous timing measurement of up to 12 main contacts (4 breaks per phase) including pre-insertion resistors (if present in the circuit breaker) and 6 auxiliary contacts<\/li>\n<li>Resistance measurement of the pre-insertion resistors (if present in the circuit breaker)<\/li>\n<li>Evaluation of synchronization between the circuit breaker poles<\/li>\n<li>Measurement of the coil currents, voltages and resistance (simultaneously for 3 coils \u2013 during open or close sequence)<\/li>\n<li>Evaluating the state of substation\u2019s batteries by graphically showing the voltage value<\/li>\n<li>Measurement of displacement, contact wipe, over-travel, rebound, damping time and average velocity of the breaker\u2019s moving parts<\/li>\n<li>Recording of circuit breaker vibration fingerprint<\/li>\n<li>\u201cFirst trip\u201d test<\/li>\n<li>Static resistance measurement<\/li>\n<li>Dynamic resistance measurement<\/li>\n<li>Measurement of spring-charging motor time, current and voltage (both DC and AC power supply voltage, when used as CAT &amp; SAT test system)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Built-in micro-ohmmeter (optional)<\/strong>\u00a0provides high current for dynamic and static resistance measurement, as well for BSG timing measurement of dead tank circuit breakers.<\/p>\n<p>The additional\u00a0<strong>six<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>voltage analog channels<\/strong>\u00a0have four selectable voltage ranges available (\u00b11 V, \u00b15 V, \u00b160 V and \u00b1300 V AC\/DC). They are used to monitor:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Measurement of coil resistance (simultaneously for 3 coils \u2013 during open or close sequence)<\/li>\n<li>Circuit-breaker substation battery voltage,<\/li>\n<li>DC and AC currents during the \u201cFirst trip\u201d test,<\/li>\n<li>CT secondary currents for BSG test on GIS<\/li>\n<li>Other types of analog signals that may be relevant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Three vibration channel inputs\u00a0<\/strong>record circuit breaker vibration fingerprints providing non-invasive assessment of the circuit breaker main contacts using vibration-based analysis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Three transducer channels<\/strong>\u00a0provide measuring displacement of the circuit breaker moving parts, contact wipe, over-travel, rebound, damping time and an average velocity.
